Driver
Safe Driving Practices :
- Drive safely in various weather conditions.
- Navigate a variety of routes throughout the city while adhering to a time schedule.
Patient Care and Transport :
- Load and unload patients via wheelchair and stretcher.
- Communicate compassionately and professionally with patients, ensuring their comfort and understanding throughout the transportation process.
- Interact courteously with facility staff, including receptionists, nurses, and other personnel.
Vehicle Maintenance and Supplies :
- Report any vehicle or equipment issues promptly and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain the van and equipment, ensuring they are clean, sanitized, and in good working condition before, during, and after every use.
- Monitor and restock necessary supplies in the vehicle, ensuring it is well-prepared for each trip.
Technology Proficiency :
- Operate basic cell phone and iPad application functions.
- Utilize an iPad with routing software for efficient navigation and scheduling.
Internal Communication :
- Collaborate with the administrative team to address logistical challenges promptly and maintain open lines of communication.
- Report any issues or concerns promptly to the designated supervisor, contributing to a resolution-oriented environment.
